This project is developed with Chatgame, a Chinese videochat company specializing in video compression technology. The objective was to help them combine videochat and gaming in an application that would develop opportunities for U.S. market.
Challenge
With the emergence of videochat, what visual aspects of human playfulness will enhance human connections?
Solution
Providing urbanites a way to leave their mark on an augmented reality layer, using geo location to locate and interact with local landmarks.

Reflection
• Prioritize the user is essential to keeping the user’s needs in focus and following the determined design and preferences. At certain moments, it is important to reflect, re-evaluate, and conduct further research to understand user pain points.
• Creating a flexible schedule and establishing project milestones were important to accomplish the project within the given timespan. It is important to note that my approach of a growth mindset enabled me to adapt and shift to changing plans and this characteristic was vital in creating a cohesive product.
• Learning how to make design decisions collaboratively was the biggest challenge in balancing stakeholder needs throughout this project. To problem-solve for the user's pain points, it was vital to be open-minded, while integrating the stakeholders input.
