Problem

Early-stage AR wellness startup with a strong concept but no clear visualization of the product experience. Stakeholders struggled to understand how the technology translated into a real user journey.

Opportunity

Bridge brand and product by turning a conceptual AR platform into a believable, experience-driven system.

Outcome

Designed app mockups showing personalized programs and guided sessions:

  • Visualized AR-based 3D trainer interactions in real-world environments

  • Applied brand system across digital & physical touchpoints

  • Created visual assets used to communicate product vision to stakeholders

Impact: Helped shift Pivot from abstract tech idea to clear, investable product experience.

Reflection

  • This project reinforced that in early-stage startups, designers don’t just make things look good they reduce uncertainty.

By visualizing an experience that didn’t yet exist, I helped bridge the gap between vision and belief. Pivot showed me how:

    • Brand design evolves into product and systems thinking

    • Speculative mockups can function as strategic tools

    • Designing for movement-based, embodied experiences requires thinking beyond screens

It also sparked ongoing questions I’m interested in exploring:

    • How can AR fitness experiences support motivation without overwhelming users?

    • What does “embodied UX” mean when the interface is your own body in space?

    • How can visual design build trust in technologies that guide physical movement?
